Arizona

When I was watching Arizona Robbins (Grey’s Anatomy) through the night and then I stopped, I was in the middle of the couch staring the darkness and I suddenly find myself singing these words – “You’ve got to get yourself together, you’ve got stuck in a moment and now you can’t get out of it.” I didn’t know where that came from. Just out of nowhere. I couldn’t even remember which band was but it was quite ironic…these ironies of life.
Yes, it’s been a few weeks and I still can’t get enough of Arizona’s happy smile. Everywhere she goes she brings you that ridiculous smile.

It’s in the corridors...

With work colleagues...

She can't control it.

When she's dancing.

It’s in the middle of the ER...

Or even when she's confronting other colleagues.

Like the last words of the song, “It’s just a moment, this time will pass”!

I am obviously in love with Arizona Robbins, but  I must say Jessica Capshaw
is the cutest person. I just can’t get enough of her adorableness. Today I watched her in Jimmy Kimmel. Pay careful attention at Jimmy and how he basically jammed when he is starting to mention that Jessica’s character has a…girlfriend. For a few seconds I was lost. What year am I? I thought. So I checked. It is indeed 2011. And you’re not in the closet Jimmy…or are you?

(Even when she's serious...I like her a lot)

Ok now, I’m off to another Grey’s Anatomy episode, now that I’m desperately addicted. Seriously, even re-watching the show backwards and with all this confusing mess of everyone sleeping with everyone, I just can’t get enough. I love Cristina Yang, she has the greatest character. I even love McSteamy because he’s a genuine guy. He lives his life the way he likes, he’s honest, and even if he has to confess he’s unfaithful he will say it (typical men’s honesty). Anyway, have a nice weekend.

Crying Extremely Loud

Stephen Daldry already made me cry. He never disappoints.

Picture Moment - Brothers and Sisters

Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac

Two beautiful girls with a special bonding that was cut after the death of Françoise, she was twenty five years old. I see her as a female version of James Dean. I read this comment about these two sisters that I really like, it says they were as different as night and day. Catherine was cool, calm, remote and with an edge of mystery about her (I love this description) while her sister was fun, radiant, outgoing, with such joie de vivre. They made three films together including the radiant ‘Les Demoiselles de Rochefort’, one of my favorite musicals.

Scarlett Johansson and Hunter Johansson
Twins brothers and sisters are usually very different from each other, like this case!

Rooney Mara and Kate Mara
Are this two girls also night and day? It seems so, at first sight.

Harry and Luke Treadaway
Oh, I can distinguish them. No, seriously. But I won’t tell you though, otherwise is not funny. I can say it was confusing at first – I swear I thought I saw this guy in ‘Fish Tank’ but I also saw him in ‘The Whistleblower’, I was confused, yes.  One thing I'm sure, this guys must have lot of fun teasing people (I know how that works, at least until a certain age).

Now is it Luke and Harry in correct order? I won’t tell you either…

Amber Heard and Whitney Heard
I met her in this clip, Blood Is Thicker than Water (you know).

Angelina Jolie and James Haven
I could I forget them? I’m not from this period of Angelina but it must have been amusing!
Jon Voight’s genes seem to be pretty strong. I think they have the exact same noise and lips.

I have a twin sister and we don’t look as identical as Angie and her brother look! However, I can understand Angie pretty well, because my twin is my other half and I can’t breathe without her, really, when she’s not around it’s like there’s something missing.

Big Miracle

Are you kidding me? I love whales!
It looks really freezing, though.

Oscars Predictions – Unseasoned Period

From what I’ve heard it looks something like this. We are now entering the Oscar Season and it’s always funny to see the predictions today and five months from now. I believe this is the funny time, the enjoyable one. Not the actual period when the Awards are given (because then the films have been watched and the disappointment begins!) I have to agree with Ron Swanson on Awards, he believes they are stupid, “but they’d less stupid if they went to the right people”.

"Shame"

Best Supporting Actresses
Evan Rachel Wood – The Ides of March
Octavia Spencer – The Help
Jessica Chastain – Take Shelter (or The Tree of Life or The Help, but hardly)
Keira Knightley – A Dangerous Method (I would be really pleased)

Vanessa Redgrave – Coriolanus
Shailene Woodley – The Descendants
Marion Cotillard – Midnight in Paris

Leading Actress
Meryl Streep - The Iron Lady
Glenn Close – Albert Nobbs
Sandra Bullock – Incredibly Loud and Extremely Close (I don't know if it's a supporting role or a leading one)
Viola Davis – The Help (Supporting role?)
Jodie Foster – Carnage
Elizabeth Olsen – Martha Marcy May Marlene
Rachel Weisz – The Deep Blue Sea; The Whistleblower (I am saying personally she really deserved)
Kristen Wiig – Bridesmaids (at least the Golden Globe)
Tilda Swinton – We Need to Talk About Kevin
Michelle Williams – My Week With Merilyn

Leading Actor
George Clooney – The Descendants
Leonardo Dicaprio – J. Edgar
Michael Shannon – Take Shelter
Brad Pitt – Moneyball
Gerard Buttler – Preach Gun Machine
Woody Harrelson – Rampart
Michael Fassbender - Shame
Gary Oldman – Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
Jean Dujardin – The Artist
Joseph Gordon Levitt – 50/50

"Drive"

Supporting Actor
Christopher Plummer – Beginners
Robert Forster – The Descendants
Phillip Seymor Hoffman – The Ides of March
Bryan Cranston - Drive
Kenneth Branagh – My Week With Marilyn
Brad Pitt – The Tree of Life
Nick Nolte - Warrior
George Clooney - The Ides of March

Note: there is a big chance for a drastic change of events!

Ron Swanson

Ron Swanson has my favorite face of the moment. Seriously, I can't get enough of him. And then he comes up with these sentences -
When Leslie Knope is talking to Ron about his boyfriend lawyer:

Leslie: I don't know, there's something about the way he treats people or something.
Ron: He's a tourist. He vacations in people's lives, takes pictures, puts them in scrapbook and moves on. All he's interested in are stories.
Leslie: Huh.
Ron: Basically, Leslie, he's selfish. And you're not. And that's why you don't like him.

Oh, common, even when you're watching a comedy series full of senseless people saying things that make total sense you can't help but do what every human being is incapable of not doing, "identification". You do it unconsciously, you do it not wanting to do it. It's just the way we work, guys!
Parks and Recreation is a bliss. Every episode takes twenty minutes but each time I watch it I might take longer than twenty minutes because I have to stop to recover my breath. And their faces, it's too much.

(Parks and Recreation - an American comedy series)
Ron smile (!!!)

Ann Perkins.

April.

Leslie's nerd lover, Ben.

Again.

Too much.

I mean, there's no one I only like a little.

I loved them all - Leslie Knope is the best.

But Ron,

is Ron.

J. Edgar

Sometimes I get really excited and then it slows down and then sometimes the interest goes away and then a new excitement arrives. It gets exciting again. The new trailer of Clint Eastwood’s film reminds me of Changeling (it goes through the same period of time and it's the same Cinematographer) which also reminds me of my legs shaking when I was watching the film in theaters, but this time it isn’t about missing children but the controversy continues with the relationship behind doors between Hoover and Tolson (Hammer making eyes to Leo).
And Clint Eastwood already clears things out before it gets too boring. He says, "I don’t give a fuck about who wants to get married to anybody else! Why not?! We’re making a big deal out of things we shouldn’t be making a deal out of ... Just give everybody the chance to have the life they want." Listen to the words of a wise man.

There you have it; half the questions are answered in terms of Oscar Talk when it comes to J.Edgar. Leonardo DiCaprio has the It Role or Oscar Role or Role-of-a-lifetime Role. Judi Dench – there’s not much else to add. The screenplay, Dustin Lance Black is solid. I can finally say we are now officially entering the Oscar Season. Awesome! Still waiting for My Week With Marilyn, Rampart, Shame, War House.

Oscars are on and so is Hollywood. Everyone’s ready for newcomers (Elizabeth Olsen, Shailene Woodley), same/old faces (Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep), underrated/overrated faces, foreign faces (Jean Dujardin), careers rescued (Nick Nolte), and so on. Pretty soon I’ll be posting the early Oscar predictions.

We Bought a Zoo

"This is Zoo"
"YEAH".

Seems to be an incredibly endearing story but also a bit cheesy and sometimes ordinary, despite the animals, which is what makes the difference between other films with a similar story about single parenthood, like ‘Dan in Real Life’ or 'The Boys Are Back', for instance. But we never really know what surprises the movies can bring us. Is it an Oscar contender? Of course it is. The names are already present; we just need the expected result…

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Illusion

It's getting closer.

Jane...Just Maura

So I kept noticing fans reactions to Rizzoli & Isles, I couldn’t help it; and what a comic relief. I don’t want to offend anyone, I respect you all. It’s called internet and people come to this place to say whatever they want. So I decided to collect a few words from other fellow Web mates! Like the title of my post, also authored by the fans. Again, I don’t want to be mean; I know I sound like I just got internet yesterday! But the words I read after the Summer Finale Episode are too amusing.

a) they establish that Hoyt sees Jane and Maura as a couple. B) Show that Jane will be in berserker mode and kill when Maura’s being hurt...

The matching scars. (This made me laugh really hard.)

“Why this show isn’t called Butch & Femme?”

“Why can’t they just be friends?” It’s like, are we watching the same show”.
Now the question is "Is “Gayzzoli” coming true?"

I cracked. How do they do this? It’s really good!

Arizona

I love a smile. I love to see a smile on someone. They look prettier. Arizona Robbins has the most contagious smile.

You probably heard of Seattle Grace Hospital…a couple of days ago I decided to watch Grey’s Anatomy, to see Jessica Capshaw and her romantic subtext. She’s Arizona Robbins from peds surgery. She’s the cutest most amusing character of all surgeons (Bailey and Christina are genius, but that’s another story). She’s accomplished, hot and confident and she starts flirting with Calliope Torres from Ortho! I already knew the story, the outcome; I even saw the episode of her marriage to Callie. But I never thought the journey would be so satisfying. All I needed was to see that smile. It become like heroine. So I didn’t sleep for a few days.
I hope one of this days I get over them, but right now I really need Arizona and Callie.
In other words, this is me rejecting reality.

Eddie Murphy To Host Oscars

On a personal note - "Oh my fucking god, kill me".

I would still prefer the high-on-tiredness James Franco
He could barely open his eyes, every joke was awful but the sketch opening the Oscars was hilarious...

P.S - People from the Oscars, you don't have to make jokes at the film protagonists and other random starlet you just have to represent the films of the year (SOME OF THEM). That's supposedly the big deal.

I liked this...

Venice Film Festival Weekend - Photo Booth

A special guest.

They say Keira is every inch the star at Venice, so let's smile.

The family from 'A Dangerous Method'.

Also in the family...

The film is called 'Un été brulant' by Philippe Garrel and will also be at the TIFF.

Louis Garrel (son of Philippe Garrel).

George Clooney act.

I don't get this woman...I mean, I do. But it's too much...

...she puts young co-star in the shade, say gossip people; I say it depends on your taste, really.
By the way, their scenes together in 'Mildred Pierce' are powerful.

Jessie's face... Jessie's face and...(guess what?)

The good buzz is around Andrea Roseborough; What? She's a rising star...it's like an athlete in Top form!

The big question is - is it bearable? Because I still want to see it in theaters.

Funny looking faces
Wow.

Man with a beard.

Man in a hat.

Cronenberg, I only saw your two last films...it's a fact.

This is definitely funny!

Marisa, what is wrong??

Kate Winslet couldn't stop laughing during a vomiting scene...this really promises!

This is funny too!
